Our Samsung refrigerator started warming up overnight. Booking was easy, the arrival window was clear, and the technician explained the diagnosis in plain English before doing any work. Everything has been holding temperature since. They also sent a message before arrival and kept the kitchen area neat. I never felt rushed when asking questions, which I appreciated. Very organized service.

AMAZING service from Stan! My dishwasher and fridge were not working and typically when you have to call someone in to help you with a broken appliance you feel timid that the technician will take advantage due to the clients lack of knowledge. However, i have never felt so comfortable and satisfied with a service than i did with Stan. He was efficient, patient and explained everything clearly. Will request him again in the future !

After receiving a quote for repair from another appliance repair company, I called to find out how much it was to replace/repair our LG refrigerator and Natalie told me to check with the manufacturer because her experience it's either the compressor or computer but not both, and part may be under warranty. Due to her experienced advice, I called LG and found the repair was under warranty by an LG tech. Natalie of Star Appliances honesty and good advice saved us over $1000. Thank you!

Price
What refrigerator repair costs in Weston — and when you know the number
Refrigerator repair in Weston comes down to two numbers: the $95 diagnostic and the repair price given after the machine has been tested.
The $95 diagnostic
The diagnostic on a refrigerator in Weston is $95 and is credited toward the repair. If you decide not to repair, the diagnostic is what you pay.
The repair price
One refrigerator complaint has more than one possible cause, and the part that failed sets the price: the technician tests your refrigerator on site in Weston first, then gives one price for the whole job, parts and labor, and work starts only after you agree to that number.
Payment
We take cards, Zelle, cash or a check. The invoice lists the completed work and the warranty.

Common problems
Common refrigerator problems we fix in Weston
Starchenko Appliance Repair fixes refrigerators across Weston and the rest of Broward County. The faults below are what owners called us out to repair on refrigerators.
Ice maker stopped making ice
An ice maker may stop filling, freezing or releasing ice. The technician checks the water supply, fill valve, frozen line and ice-maker cycle to identify which step has failed.
Frost building up inside the refrigerator
Frost on a back wall or around a freezer drawer can restrict airflow and eventually warm the refrigerator. The technician checks the door seal and defrost system before deciding what needs repair. Recent example: Kenmore refrigerator was icing up. Defrost system repaired and airflow restored (Weston).
Refrigerator not cooling
A warm refrigerator can have an airflow, fan, start or sealed-system problem. The technician checks temperatures and the cooling system to find the fault before quoting a repair. Recent example: Sub-Zero built-in wasn't cooling. Control board replaced (Pompano Beach).
Refrigerator dead or showing an error
A blank panel, no lights or an error can point to a power, wiring or control problem. The technician checks the supply and controls before deciding which part, if any, needs replacement.
Refrigerator buzzing or running loud
Buzzing, clicking or rattling may come from a fan, a part touching ice or a compressor struggling to start. The technician listens to the machine and tests the affected component before quoting the repair.
These are the refrigerator faults Weston calls us about most often — not the whole list. Whatever your refrigerator is doing, call us: the $95 diagnostic finds what failed and comes off the repair, same day or next day.

Before you book
Weston refrigerator repair questions, answered
Answers about the refrigerator diagnostic, visit timing, repair scope and warranty in Weston.
Call (754) 335-5599Can I book repair for a built-in refrigerator in Weston?
Yes. We service built-in refrigerators in Weston. Give us the make and model when booking so the technician can prepare for that configuration.
What should I report when booking a visit for frost building up inside a refrigerator?
When booking, tell us where the frost appears and whether the fresh-food section is warming. The technician tests the reported fault on site before naming a cause or quoting a repair.
Can you quote a repair for frost building up inside the refrigerator before the diagnostic?
Not reliably: frost building up inside the refrigerator can have more than one cause. The $95 diagnostic is credited toward an approved repair. After testing the refrigerator on site, the technician gives the full parts-and-labor price, and repair begins only with your agreement.
When could you visit Weston for refrigerator repair?
A refrigerator repair visit in Weston is usually available the same day or next day. Calls are answered 24/7; repair visits run 7 days a week, and we confirm the available time window before the visit.
Could you finish the repair for frost building up inside the refrigerator on the first visit?
Usually, yes: 95% of repairs are finished on the first visit, and common refrigerator parts are carried in the van. If a part has to be ordered, the technician explains the repair and full price before any work you approve.
