We called on Friday afternoon and had the problem diagnosed with a new part ordered in under two hours. Denis completed the installation on Monday, immediately after the part arrived, in less than 30 minutes. He also diagnosed and solved some other issues with our washer that a previous repair company had left. He was polite, timely, and extremely respectful. I had a fantastic experience working with Starchenko. They sent a great technician named Roman who arrived within the agreed upon window and notified me 30 minutes before his arrival, also as agreed upon. He worked diligently, diagnosed the problem and fixed it as quickly as he could. He needed to come back with a part the next day, which he did as promised, and now our dishwasher is working perfectly. The price was totally fair and reflected the work that he did. The ONLY recommendation I would make is to maybe work out some type of way to let the customer know how much the job is going to cost a bit sooner, but I also know that it would have been very difficult this situation. It was just a little bit stressful for him to be here for three hours, my dishwasher is completely disassembled, parts all over our kitchen floor, and internally I'm going, "Okay is this going to cost $50 or $500 or $5000?" Like I said though, I guess there's no real other way to figure that out beyond him having to get in there and pull everything apart to diagnose the problem, so please don't think that that's a complaint on my end. Found this company via Yelp and they were very quick to respond. Denis was polite and explained the issues well upon the initial appointment. He fixed the ice tray and suggested that the water pump was likely causing the issueThe parts needed arrived two days after the initial appointment and Denis came back out and installed the needed parts and showed me the old parts and explained what the difference was (which was very visible rust). I’m glad he recommended changing the water pump now as he says it would have caused water to leak out everywhere if it had gotten any worse. By the looks of it, it was an original piece and that fridge is on the older side. Thanks again for the prompt responses and great service.

We have a Samsung Gas Dryer that is probably nearly 17 years old. The dryer would not start. I located a number to call via a google search and was contacted by Starchenko Appliance Repair. They said they had a technician who could arrive between 3:00-6:00 the same day. Jesse showed up at around noon. He said that he was scheduled to go to Long Beach and then return to Glendora for our service call. He rescheduled to shorten his driving and arrived early. He diagnosed the problem very quickly as a broken belt, worn pulley and tensioner that prevented the dryer from starting. He waited while his company sent me a proposal for approval. He had the necessary parts with him. He was done and the dryer was working within 1-1/2 hours of his arrival. Jesse worked carefully to avoid damage to any surfaces and cleaned up after his work in a tight working space. It was costly, but less than a new Samsung dryer on sale. I give Starchenko, and especially Jesse the technician, very high marks for professionalism in their timely service and excellent work.
