Vadim visited Friday evening and did a wonderful job repairing our Samsung Clothes Dryer. It was a pleasant surprise he could visit the same day. He was quick and professional. It was not an easy or clean repair, but Vadim made it look simple. The cost for the repair was very reasonable. Plus we enjoyed his company and chatting a bit. We have a Samsung Gas Dryer that is probably nearly 17 years old. The dryer would not start. I located a number to call via a google search and was contacted by Starchenko Appliance Repair. They said they had a technician who could arrive between 3:00-6:00 the same day. Jesse showed up at around noon. He said that he was scheduled to go to Long Beach and then return to Glendora for our service call. He rescheduled to shorten his driving and arrived early. He diagnosed the problem very quickly as a broken belt, worn pulley and tensioner that prevented the dryer from starting. He waited while his company sent me a proposal for approval. He had the necessary parts with him. He was done and the dryer was working within 1-1/2 hours of his arrival. Jesse worked carefully to avoid damage to any surfaces and cleaned up after his work in a tight working space. It was costly, but less than a new Samsung dryer on sale. I give Starchenko, and especially Jesse the technician, very high marks for professionalism in their timely service and excellent work.

My experience with Starchenko Appl has been one of full commitment to resolving my kid's dryer issues. I reached out to them during my attempt to find a repairman that won't reject our project. A stackable dryer & washer with a faulty dryer in a tight fit closet, was turned down by several companies. Well Pavel the technician came out not once but several times, since they guarantee their service and tackled different aspects of the dryer that kept at it until he got to the core problem. So grateful to Pavel for getting the job done with the best disposition. Even though we had someone clean the vent prior to calling Starchenko, a big piece of lint was left stuck in the pipe. It's back to working perfectly. Highly recommend and sure to call for other jobs.
