Excellent same-day service, which is so unusual and appreciated! Technician was highly knowledgeable (ours is a steam oven, which adds complexity to the repair), very careful and professional - he even anchored the oven to the opening, which had not been done when it was first installed - highly and warmly recommend.

Price
What Manitowoc ice machine repair costs — and when you know the number
Two numbers decide the bill: the $119 commercial diagnostic and the repair price the technician gives you after testing the machine on site.
The $119 diagnostic
The diagnostic on a Manitowoc ice machine is $119, and it comes off the repair: agree to the job and the $119 is deducted from the price for parts and labor. You pay it separately only if you hear the price and decide not to repair.
Why the price comes after the diagnostic
One symptom on a Manitowoc has several possible causes, each with its own part and its own price: a machine that will not make ice can be the water inlet valve, the fill path, a bin or curtain switch, the harvest circuit or the control board. That is why the number comes after testing, not over the phone.
Payment and paperwork
We take cards, Zelle, cash or a check, and the invoice is made out to the business. It lists the ice machine work and the 90-day parts-and-labor warranty.

Common problems
Manitowoc ice machine repair for ice and water problems
Starchenko Appliance Repair services Manitowoc commercial ice machines that lose production, stop mid-cycle or leak. Our technicians handle freeze, harvest and water-system repairs, with most parts for these Manitowoc calls already in the van.
Manitowoc runs but makes no ice
We repair Manitowoc ice machines that run through a cycle without filling the bin. Our ice-machine technicians regularly work on inlet valves, water paths and bin or curtain switches, checking production after the repair.
Manitowoc shuts itself off
We repair Manitowoc ice machines that stop themselves or repeatedly return to a stopped state. Our specialists test the control signals alongside water, harvest and cooling operation, identifying the fault before presenting the repair price.
Manitowoc ice won't drop
We repair Manitowoc ice machines whose ice freezes but will not release into the bin. Our technicians are experienced with harvest valves, curtain switches and thickness sensing, checking the machine through the complete release sequence.
Manitowoc makes less ice than usual
We service Manitowoc equipment with slow batches or declining output. Our technicians regularly handle condenser cleaning, water-flow faults and freeze controls, matching the repair or maintenance to the production shortfall.
Manitowoc cubes are thin or hollow
We repair Manitowoc ice machines producing thin, uneven or incomplete cubes. Our ice-machine specialists work on thickness probes, water-level components and freezing controls, checking the batch the machine produces after service.
Scale or slime in a Manitowoc
We clean and service Manitowoc evaporators, water paths and storage bins affected by deposits. Our technicians regularly perform this ice-machine maintenance, including recurring cleaning for businesses whose equipment needs ongoing care.
Manitowoc leaking water
We repair Manitowoc leaks around fill connections, drains, bins and seals. Water-path repairs are familiar work for our ice-machine technicians, with most parts for these leaks already carried on the van.
These are the Manitowoc faults we get called out to most often — not the whole list. If your machine is doing something else, call us: the $119 commercial diagnostic finds what failed and comes off the repair, same day or next day.
