There is a technician near you across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. The commercial diagnostic is $119, credited toward the repair. Our washer-dryer combo would not drain at the end of the cycle. They were easy to reach, arrived on time, and clearly explained the repair and future care. Very satisfied.

Technician was very friendly and extremely honest. Didn’t try to sell me a fix that wasn’t needed. Told me to leave as is and the cost to replace the part made no sense on a fridge as old as mine. I really appreciated that

Cooktop needed repairs and called Starchenko and they sent out a technician the same day. Stan showed up on time and went to work on the issue. He was very professional, and careful with the removal of the cooktop making sure not to damage the surrounding countertop. He identified the issue, fixed it, and had the unit working by dinner time! They were reasonably priced and will definitely use them again when I have appliance issues and don’t feel like shelling out hundreds if not thousands of dollars to replace!
Leo SalvatierraMay 2023
Yelp
Great service and quick response time. Our tech Stan is knowledgeable and was able to confirm that all we needed was a coil cleaning and at a good price in my opinion. They confirmed our appt via text and updated us when on the way. They also sent the invoice and payment method through a text link which came in handy. Overall a happy customer.

AMAZING service from Stan! My dishwasher and fridge were not working and typically when you have to call someone in to help you with a broken appliance you feel timid that the technician will take advantage due to the clients lack of knowledge. However, i have never felt so comfortable and satisfied with a service than i did with Stan. He was efficient, patient and explained everything clearly. Will request him again in the future !

Price
What Hoshizaki ice machine repair costs — and when you know the number
The bill has two parts: the $119 commercial diagnostic, and the repair price the technician names once the machine has been tested.
The $119 diagnostic
The commercial diagnostic is $119 and it is credited toward the repair: approve the job and it comes off the price for parts and labor. It stays a separate charge only if you hear the number and decide not to go ahead.
The repair price
What the repair costs depends on which part failed. A water inlet valve, a float or water-level control, a thermistor, the harvest circuit or a control board are separate jobs at separate prices, and the machine has to be tested before anyone can tell them apart.
Payment and paperwork
Cards, Zelle, cash or a check, with the invoice made out to the business and the 90-day parts-and-labor warranty written on it.

Common problems
Hoshizaki ice machine repair for production and water faults
Starchenko Appliance Repair services Hoshizaki commercial ice machines. Our ice-machine technicians handle production, harvest and water-path faults, with most parts for these repairs already in the van and regular cleaning available for the equipment.
Hoshizaki ice machine stops unexpectedly
We repair Hoshizaki ice machines that stop production or repeatedly interrupt a batch. Our ice-machine specialists test water-level controls, thermistors and cycle signals, identifying the operating fault before quoting the repair.
Hoshizaki runs but makes no ice
We repair Hoshizaki ice machines that run without adding ice to the bin. Water inlet valves, float controls and fill paths are familiar work for our technicians, with most parts for these no-ice calls carried in the van.
Hoshizaki ice won't release
We repair Hoshizaki ice machines with ice remaining on the evaporator at the end of freezing. Our technicians work on harvest valves, sensing and cycle controls, watching the release stage to verify the repair.
Hoshizaki ice production is low
We service Hoshizaki ice machines producing smaller batches or taking longer between them. Our specialists regularly handle condenser airflow, water delivery and freeze controls, checking output through the machine's operating cycle.
Scale or slime in a Hoshizaki
We clean and service Hoshizaki ice machines with deposits on the evaporator, water components or bin. Our ice-machine technicians are experienced with this maintenance and provide recurring service for equipment needing regular cleaning.
Hoshizaki leaking water
We repair water leaks around Hoshizaki ice machines and bins. Our technicians trace the fill and drain paths, repair the affected valves, seals or fittings and carry most parts for these water leaks in the van.
Hoshizaki ice is small or uneven
We service Hoshizaki ice machines delivering partial cubes or inconsistent batches. Our technicians work on water-level controls, thermistors and the freezing sequence, matching the repair to the ice quality the machine is producing.
These are the Hoshizaki faults behind most of our commercial ice calls — not the whole list. If the machine is doing something else, call us: the $119 commercial diagnostic finds what failed and comes off the repair, same day or next day.
