Ros, the Starchenko technician, arrived at my residence the day after I requested service. He was professional in his approach to solving the problem and had the issue resolved in an hour. I found the Starchenko office to be very helpful also, moving the service arrival up by four hours when they found they had an earlier opening. It is a pleasure dealing with the Starchenko organization and I will surely call on them again if/when the need arises. Sheldon Seltzer Weston, FL

I needed a same day repair done on a fridge and put a request out on Yelp. Starchenko responded the quickest, had the best price to come out and also had excellent reviews so the choice was a no brainer really. Most importantly though, they delivered! Their technician Stano came out and was able to diagnose the problem pretty quickly. He was very professional, explained the issue simply and resolved it with parts he had on hand. All in all an excellent experience in customer service and I would recommend these guys to anyone needing to have appliance repairs done.

Price
What Scotsman ice machine repair costs — and when you know the number
There are two figures: the $119 commercial diagnostic, and the repair price the technician gives you once the machine has been tested on site.
The $119 diagnostic
The $119 commercial diagnostic is credited toward the repair — approve the work and it comes off the price for parts and labor. You pay it on its own only if you hear the price and decide against the repair.
What sets the repair price
A nugget machine with a worn auger gearbox and a cube machine with a failed water valve are different repairs at different prices, and both start with the same symptom: no usable ice. That is why the number comes after testing rather than over the phone.
Payment and paperwork
Card, Zelle, cash or check, invoice made out to the business, with the 90-day parts-and-labor warranty printed on it.

Common problems
Scotsman ice machine repair for cubes, nuggets and flakes
Starchenko Appliance Repair services Scotsman cube, nugget and flake ice machines. Our technicians work on production, ice delivery and water faults, matching the repair to the freezing and drive system used by your equipment.
Scotsman cube machine makes no ice
We repair Scotsman cube machines that cycle without adding ice to the bin. Our technicians regularly handle inlet valves, fill controls and production circuits, with most parts for these no-ice repairs already in the van.
Scotsman nugget or flake output stops
We repair Scotsman nugget and flake machines that freeze but stop moving ice out. Our ice-machine specialists service augers, drive motors and gearboxes, checking ice movement as well as the freezing operation.
Scotsman nugget ice comes out wet
We service Scotsman ice machines producing wet, slushy nuggets instead of their usual ice. Our technicians are experienced with the extruder, water-level controls and refrigeration system, matching the repair to the machine's ice-making design.
Scotsman ice won't release from the plate
We repair Scotsman cube-machine harvest faults that leave ice on the evaporator. Our specialists work on release valves, switches and temperature sensing, checking a full harvest cycle before completing the service.
Scotsman ice production is low
We service Scotsman ice machines delivering fewer batches or falling behind normal demand. Our technicians regularly work on water supply, condenser airflow and cooling controls, identifying the repair or cleaning needed to restore production.
Scale or slime in a Scotsman
We clean and service Scotsman ice-making and water components with scale or slime buildup. Our technicians maintain cube, nugget and flake equipment and provide recurring cleaning matched to the machine's operating needs.
Scotsman leaking water
We repair water leaks from Scotsman ice machines, bins and connecting water paths. Our technicians frequently handle drains, seals, valves and fittings, with most parts for these water leaks carried on the service van.
These are the Scotsman faults we are called out to most — not the whole list. If the machine is doing something else, call us: the $119 commercial diagnostic finds what failed and comes off the repair, same day or next day.
