Privacy Policy
Starchenko Corp, doing business as Starchenko Appliance Repair (“we”, “us”, “our”), operates this website. This policy explains what we collect when you contact us or book a repair, what we do with it, and who else sees it. It covers this website and the phone number published on it.
What we collect
What you send through the booking form. The form on this site asks for your name, your phone number and a short description of the problem. When you submit it, we also receive the address of the page you sent it from, the site that sent you to us if there was one, which pages you opened during that visit and roughly how long you spent. That is there so the person who calls you back already knows which appliance you were reading about. Your browser keeps it only for the current visit — close the tab and it is gone. The one thing that outlives the tab is a count of how many requests were sent from that browser today, so that we do not call you twice about the same thing; it holds no personal detail and resets the next day. We do not work out your location from your IP address for the booking form.
What you tell us on the phone or by text. Most of a service call is arranged by voice. In that conversation we take the service address, the details of the appliance — type, brand, model, what it is doing — and the time window that suits you. You can text the same number; the people who answer the calls answer the texts.
Call recordings. Calls to and from our number may be recorded. A recorded announcement at the start of the call tells you so before the conversation begins, in both directions — if you would rather not be recorded, say so or hang up and write to us instead. Recordings are used to check the quality of the work and to settle questions about a job.
This covers the number published on this site. A technician who calls you from his own phone is calling on his own line, and what happens on that call is not covered by this policy.
Technical data about your visit. Like most websites, this one records technical information through Google Analytics: which pages were opened, an approximate location worked out from the IP address, the site you arrived from, the device and browser, and actions such as tapping the phone number or sending the form.
We do not ask for card numbers, bank details or government ID numbers anywhere on this website, and we would rather you did not send them to us.
How we use it
- To call you back about the repair you asked for and agree on a time.
- To arrange the visit and bring the right parts.
- To handle questions about work already done, including warranty calls.
- To keep our own record of jobs and to train the people who answer the phone.
- To see which pages people actually use, so we can fix what is confusing.
Who we share it with
The company that performs your repair. We share your service request details — your name, phone number, address and the description of the problem, together with the page you asked from and the short visit summary described above — with the service provider who will perform your repair. That company contacts you directly, does the work and gives you an invoice in its own name.
Companies that help us run this site. Web3Forms receives what you type into the booking form and delivers it to our inbox. Google Analytics receives the technical data described above. Vercel hosts the site and keeps ordinary server logs. Web3Forms and Vercel handle that information for us and on our instruction. Google is different: for analytics data Google acts on its own behalf as well as ours, which is why it has its own section below.
When the law requires it. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not hand it to advertising networks. There is no advertising or remarketing tag anywhere on this site.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4. It sets its own cookies in your browser to tell one visit from another and to recognize a returning visitor, and it sends Google the technical data described above — pages opened, an approximate location worked out from your IP address, the site you arrived from, your device and browser, and actions such as tapping the phone number or sending the form.
Google processes that data on its own systems, aggregates it into the reports we read, and also uses it for its own purposes under its own terms — it is not simply a contractor working to our instruction. How Google uses information from sites that use its services is set out on Google's own page about it.
We use analytics to understand traffic, not to build advertising profiles: we have not added any advertising, remarketing or conversion pixel to this site. If you would rather not be counted, block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on for browsers.
Text messages
You can text our number and we will answer. We do not run text-message marketing. We send no promotional texts and there is no marketing list.
We send text messages only about your appointment and repair — confirmations, technician arrival updates and replies to your questions. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks. We do not send marketing email or marketing texts. We do not ask for card numbers, bank details or government ID numbers anywhere on this site. We do not use your details to build a profile of you beyond the job you called about: the visit summary that travels with your request is not kept between visits and is not linked to anything you did on other days.
How long we keep it
We keep service records — who called, what was wrong, what was done — for as long as we may need them for warranty, accounting or legal reasons. Call recordings are kept while they are useful for quality and for settling questions about a job. Analytics data is kept for the period set in Google Analytics.
Your choices
Write to info@starchenko-ar.com or call 786-643-8833 and ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct something that is wrong, or delete your information where we are not required to keep it. We may need to check who you are before acting on a request.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging appliance repairs. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
