After receiving a quote for repair from another appliance repair company, I called to find out how much it was to replace/repair our LG refrigerator and Natalie told me to check with the manufacturer because her experience it's either the compressor or computer but not both, and part may be under warranty. Due to her experienced advice, I called LG and found the repair was under warranty by an LG tech. Natalie of Star Appliances honesty and good advice saved us over $1000. Thank you!

This is the second time I use Starchenko to fix my 12+ year old washer and they do so very professionally at a reasonable price. Their tech, Vadim, is very nice, professional, and always arrives on time. He is also helpful in cleaning the area behind the unit when it is pulled out of the closet, which I greatly appreciate. I definitely recommend their service!

Ros, the Starchenko technician, arrived at my residence the day after I requested service. He was professional in his approach to solving the problem and had the issue resolved in an hour. I found the Starchenko office to be very helpful also, moving the service arrival up by four hours when they found they had an earlier opening. It is a pleasure dealing with the Starchenko organization and I will surely call on them again if/when the need arises. Sheldon Seltzer Weston, FL

Price
What an LG appliance repair costs — and when you know the number
LG appliance repair cost comes down to two numbers: the $115 diagnostic and the repair price given after the appliance is tested.
The $115 diagnostic
The diagnostic is $115 and is credited toward the repair. If you decide not to repair, the diagnostic is what you pay.
The repair price
The LG repair price depends on what is actually broken, and that is known after the diagnostic: one symptom can have several causes, each with its own part and price. The technician tests the appliance and gives you the repair price before work begins.
Payment
We take cards, Zelle, cash or a check. The invoice lists the completed work and the warranty.

Common problems
LG appliance problems we repair
Starchenko Appliance Repair handles LG kitchen and laundry repairs across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. Leaking washers, silent laundry controls and microwaves that no longer heat are among the problems covered by the service below.
LG washer repair
LG washer repair — we repair washers that leak at the door, stop draining or no longer respond to the controls. Our technicians have handled LG door boots, blocked and failed drain pumps, and laundry-center control panels, so the service covers water problems and electronic controls alike.
LG refrigerator repair
LG refrigerator repair — we repair refrigerators that run warm, leak, become noisy or stop supplying water to the ice maker. Our refrigeration technicians work on LG cooling and water-delivery systems, including the inlet valves needed to restore filling when the ice maker remains dry.
LG dryer repair
LG dryer repair — we repair dryers that tumble without heat or finish with the load still wet. Our technicians are familiar with LG thermal-fuse, drum and blower repairs, and carry parts for most of these jobs to address heating and movement during the repair visit.
LG dishwasher repair
LG dishwasher repair — we repair dishwashers that run without washing properly, leave dirty dishes or stop moving water through the wash. Our technicians have handled LG circulation-pump obstructions as well as failed wash components, experience that helps match the repair to what has stopped the cleaning.
LG oven and range repair
LG oven and range repair — we repair ovens with a cold upper cavity, uneven baking or range burners that no longer heat. Our cooking-appliance technicians handle LG elements and temperature controls, including double-oven ranges where one cooking compartment fails while the other still works.
LG microwave repair
LG microwave repair — we repair microwaves that run but leave food cold, lose power during use or stop responding. Our technicians have handled LG magnetron and transformer repairs and work on control faults, bringing experience with the heating assembly as well as the panel you use.
These are the LG faults we get called out to most often — not the whole list. Whatever your LG is doing, call us: the $115 diagnostic finds what failed and comes off the repair, same day or next day.
