Yelp
We noticed our Whirlpool refrigerator getting warmer overnight and called before the food spoiled. The office found an appointment that fit our schedule, and the technician traced the problem instead of guessing. He completed the repair neatly and checked the temperatures before leaving. I appreciated the calm, professional approach.

Found this company via Yelp and they were very quick to respond. Denis was polite and explained the issues well upon the initial appointment. He fixed the ice tray and suggested that the water pump was likely causing the issueThe parts needed arrived two days after the initial appointment and Denis came back out and installed the needed parts and showed me the old parts and explained what the difference was (which was very visible rust). I’m glad he recommended changing the water pump now as he says it would have caused water to leak out everywhere if it had gotten any worse. By the looks of it, it was an original piece and that fridge is on the older side. Thanks again for the prompt responses and great service.

Our Samsung refrigerator door wasn’t closing tight, and the unit ran constantly. Now it seals and the nonstop running is over. Checked before they left, and very kind people.

Denis was very helpful and thorough in checking out the fridge and freezer. He stayed as long as he needed to in order to make sure the appliance was working. The office called the next day to follow up, as well. Thank you! Will definitely call them again if I have any other breakdowns.

Our refrigerator hummed along but couldn’t keep anything cold. They walked us through the repair first, only started once we said yes, and it’s holding the right temperature again.

I needed a same day repair done on a fridge and put a request out on Yelp. Starchenko responded the quickest, had the best price to come out and also had excellent reviews so the choice was a no brainer really. Most importantly though, they delivered! Their technician Stano came out and was able to diagnose the problem pretty quickly. He was very professional, explained the issue simply and resolved it with parts he had on hand. All in all an excellent experience in customer service and I would recommend these guys to anyone needing to have appliance repairs done.

Price
What refrigerator repair costs in Lake Worth — and when you know the number
Refrigerator repair in Lake Worth comes down to two numbers: the $95 diagnostic and the repair price given after the machine has been tested.
The $95 diagnostic
The diagnostic on a refrigerator in Lake Worth is $95 and is credited toward the repair. If you decide not to repair, the diagnostic is what you pay.
The repair price
One refrigerator complaint has more than one possible cause, and the part that failed sets the price: the technician tests your refrigerator on site in Lake Worth first, then gives one price for the whole job, parts and labor, and work starts only after you agree to that number.
Payment
We take cards, Zelle, cash or a check. The invoice lists the completed work and the warranty.

Common problems
Common refrigerator problems we fix in Lake Worth
Starchenko Appliance Repair fixes refrigerators across Lake Worth and the rest of Palm Beach County. The faults below are what owners called us out to repair on refrigerators.
Refrigerator buzzing or running loud
Buzzing, clicking or rattling may come from a fan, a part touching ice or a compressor struggling to start. The technician listens to the machine and tests the affected component before quoting the repair.
Water or ice dispenser not working
A dispenser may light up but give no water or ice, or stop responding altogether. The technician checks the water path, switches, auger and controls to locate the fault.
Ice maker stopped making ice
An ice maker may stop filling, freezing or releasing ice. The technician checks the water supply, fill valve, frozen line and ice-maker cycle to identify which step has failed.
Refrigerator leaking water
Water inside the cabinet or on the floor can come from a blocked defrost drain, a supply line or an ice-maker connection. The technician traces the water path before clearing or replacing a part. From a Google review: “The refrigerator started leaking inside and soaking the lower shelf. The technician found the source, showed me what was happening, and checked everything twice. No more water.”
Frost building up inside the refrigerator
Frost on a back wall or around a freezer drawer can restrict airflow and eventually warm the refrigerator. The technician checks the door seal and defrost system before deciding what needs repair. Recent example: Kenmore refrigerator was icing up. Defrost system repaired and airflow restored (Lake Worth).
These are the refrigerator faults Lake Worth calls us about most often — not the whole list. Whatever your refrigerator is doing, call us: the $95 diagnostic finds what failed and comes off the repair, same day or next day.
