We noticed our Whirlpool refrigerator getting warmer overnight and called before the food spoiled. The office found an appointment that fit our schedule, and the technician traced the problem instead of guessing. He completed the repair neatly and checked the temperatures before leaving. I appreciated the calm, professional approach.

AMAZING service from Stan! My dishwasher and fridge were not working and typically when you have to call someone in to help you with a broken appliance you feel timid that the technician will take advantage due to the clients lack of knowledge. However, i have never felt so comfortable and satisfied with a service than i did with Stan. He was efficient, patient and explained everything clearly. Will request him again in the future !

I called Starchenko to do a repair on the refrigerator at my office. The young lady I spoke with was very courtliest and set us up for an appointment that same day. When Arsen arrived at our office he quickly identified the problem and gave us a quote. He went and picked up the part to fix the refrigerator and was back and done with in an hour. I would recommend Starchenko repair all my friends and family for repairs.

We had ice building up inside our KitchenAid refrigerator. The technician explained why it was happening and gave us more than one option. The repair was completed neatly and the price was fair.

Yelp
Our older Kenmore refrigerator developed a puddle that kept returning under the crisper drawers. The technician tracked the water path, fixed the underlying issue, and showed us what had happened. The fridge is dry again, and the visit cost much less than replacing a machine we otherwise like.

They got back to us quickly about our Samsung refrigerator, and the repair went well.

After receiving a quote for repair from another appliance repair company, I called to find out how much it was to replace/repair our LG refrigerator and Natalie told me to check with the manufacturer because her experience it's either the compressor or computer but not both, and part may be under warranty. Due to her experienced advice, I called LG and found the repair was under warranty by an LG tech. Natalie of Star Appliances honesty and good advice saved us over $1000. Thank you!

Price
What refrigerator repair costs in Hollywood — and when you know the number
Refrigerator repair in Hollywood comes down to two numbers: the $95 diagnostic and the repair price given after the machine has been tested.
The $95 diagnostic
The diagnostic on a refrigerator in Hollywood is $95 and is credited toward the repair. If you decide not to repair, the diagnostic is what you pay.
The repair price
One refrigerator complaint has more than one possible cause, and the part that failed sets the price: the technician tests your refrigerator on site in Hollywood first, then gives one price for the whole job, parts and labor, and work starts only after you agree to that number.
Payment
We take cards, Zelle, cash or a check. The invoice lists the completed work and the warranty.

Common problems
Common refrigerator problems we fix in Hollywood
Starchenko Appliance Repair fixes refrigerators across Hollywood and the rest of Broward County. The faults below are what owners called us out to repair on refrigerators.
Refrigerator leaking water
Water inside the cabinet or on the floor can come from a blocked defrost drain, a supply line or an ice-maker connection. The technician traces the water path before clearing or replacing a part.
Ice maker stopped making ice
An ice maker may stop filling, freezing or releasing ice. The technician checks the water supply, fill valve, frozen line and ice-maker cycle to identify which step has failed.
Water or ice dispenser not working
A dispenser may light up but give no water or ice, or stop responding altogether. The technician checks the water path, switches, auger and controls to locate the fault. Recent example: GE refrigerator dispenser jammed. Auger and motor replaced (Hollywood).
Refrigerator buzzing or running loud
Buzzing, clicking or rattling may come from a fan, a part touching ice or a compressor struggling to start. The technician listens to the machine and tests the affected component before quoting the repair.
Refrigerator not cooling
A warm refrigerator can have an airflow, fan, start or sealed-system problem. The technician checks temperatures and the cooling system to find the fault before quoting a repair. Recent example: Thermador side-by-side warm on the fridge side. Air damper replaced (Hollywood).
These are the refrigerator faults Hollywood calls us about most often — not the whole list. Whatever your refrigerator is doing, call us: the $95 diagnostic finds what failed and comes off the repair, same day or next day.
