Price
What refrigerator repair costs in Plantation — and when you know the number
Refrigerator repair in Plantation comes down to two numbers: the $95 diagnostic and the repair price given after the machine has been tested.
The $95 diagnostic
The diagnostic on a refrigerator in Plantation is $95 and is credited toward the repair. If you decide not to repair, the diagnostic is what you pay.
The repair price
One refrigerator complaint has more than one possible cause, and the part that failed sets the price: the technician tests your refrigerator on site in Plantation first, then gives one price for the whole job, parts and labor, and work starts only after you agree to that number.
Payment
We take cards, Zelle, cash or a check. The invoice lists the completed work and the warranty.

Common problems
Common refrigerator problems we fix in Plantation
Starchenko Appliance Repair fixes refrigerators across Plantation and the rest of Broward County. The faults below are what owners called us out to repair on refrigerators.
Refrigerator leaking water
Water inside the cabinet or on the floor can come from a blocked defrost drain, a supply line or an ice-maker connection. The technician traces the water path before clearing or replacing a part.
Refrigerator dead or showing an error
A blank panel, no lights or an error can point to a power, wiring or control problem. The technician checks the supply and controls before deciding which part, if any, needs replacement.
Refrigerator not cooling
A warm refrigerator can have an airflow, fan, start or sealed-system problem. The technician checks temperatures and the cooling system to find the fault before quoting a repair. Recent example: Samsung refrigerator wasn't cooling. Bimetal thermostat replaced (Plantation).
Refrigerator not holding temperature
The refrigerator cools at first but drifts from its setting, sometimes with one compartment warmer than the other. The technician checks airflow, sensors and temperature controls to find why it cannot hold steady. Recent example: Sub-Zero refrigerator wasn't holding temperature. Cooling components and temperature controls serviced (Wilton Manors).
Frost building up inside the refrigerator
Frost on a back wall or around a freezer drawer can restrict airflow and eventually warm the refrigerator. The technician checks the door seal and defrost system before deciding what needs repair. Recent example: Whirlpool refrigerator was icing up. Defrost system repaired and airflow restored (Plantation).
These are the refrigerator faults Plantation calls us about most often — not the whole list. Whatever your refrigerator is doing, call us: the $95 diagnostic finds what failed and comes off the repair, same day or next day.

Before you book
Plantation refrigerator repair questions, answered
Answers about the refrigerator diagnostic, visit timing, repair scope and warranty in Plantation.
Call (754) 335-5599Can I book repair for a French-door refrigerator in Plantation?
Yes. We service French-door refrigerators in Plantation. Give us the make and model when booking so the technician can prepare for that configuration.
What should I report when booking a visit for a refrigerator leaking water?
Tell us where the water appears and whether the dispenser or ice maker is also affected. The technician tests the reported fault on site before naming a cause or quoting a repair.
Can you quote a repair for a refrigerator that is leaking water before the diagnostic?
Not reliably: a refrigerator that is leaking water can have more than one cause. The $95 diagnostic is credited toward an approved repair. After testing the refrigerator on site, the technician gives the full parts-and-labor price, and repair begins only with your agreement.
When could you visit Plantation for refrigerator repair?
A refrigerator repair visit in Plantation is usually available the same day or next day. Calls are answered 24/7; repair visits run 7 days a week, and we confirm the available time window before the visit.
What warranty comes with a completed refrigerator repair?
A completed refrigerator repair carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labor, written on the invoice. That is the term our parts suppliers give us, and we pass the same term on to you.
