Price
What microwave repair costs in Fort Lauderdale — and when you know the number
Microwave repair in Fort Lauderdale comes down to two numbers: the $95 diagnostic and the repair price given after the machine has been tested.
The $95 diagnostic
The diagnostic on a microwave in Fort Lauderdale is $95 and is credited toward the repair. If you decide not to repair, the diagnostic is what you pay.
The repair price
One microwave complaint has more than one possible cause, and the part that failed sets the price: the technician tests your microwave on site in Fort Lauderdale first, then gives one price for the whole job, parts and labor, and work starts only after you agree to that number.
Payment
We take cards, Zelle, cash or a check. The invoice lists the completed work and the warranty.

Common problems
Common microwave problems we fix in Fort Lauderdale
Starchenko Appliance Repair fixes microwaves across Fort Lauderdale and the rest of Broward County. The faults below are what owners called us out to repair on microwaves.
Microwave not heating
The plate turns and the light is on, but nothing gets hot. Magnetrons, diodes, high-voltage capacitors and door switches are everyday work for our technicians. Recent example: Viking over-the-range microwave not heating. Magnetron and diode replaced (Fort Lauderdale).
Microwave buttons not working
Some keys respond and others do not. Touch panels and control boards are a contained repair on over-the-range, built-in and drawer microwaves. Recent example: Wolf microwave drawer buttons not working. Touch panel replaced (Sunrise).
Microwave sparking inside
Arcing inside the cavity means the machine is switched off and looked at, not used. Waveguide covers, boards and wiring are checked before anything else.
Microwave door or handle broken
A snapped handle or a door that does not latch stops the oven from running at all. Handles, latches and door interlock switches are regular parts for us. Recent example: Samsung over-the-range microwave handle broke off. Door handle replaced (Deerfield Beach).
These are the microwave faults Fort Lauderdale calls us about most often — not the whole list. Whatever your microwave is doing, call us: the $95 diagnostic finds what failed and comes off the repair, same day or next day.

Before you book
Fort Lauderdale microwave repair questions, answered
Answers about the microwave diagnostic, visit timing, repair scope and warranty in Fort Lauderdale.
Call (754) 335-5599Can I book repair for an over-the-range microwave in Fort Lauderdale?
Yes. We service over-the-range microwaves in Fort Lauderdale. Give us the make and model when booking so the technician can prepare for that configuration.
What should I report when booking a visit for microwave buttons that do not respond?
Tell us which controls fail and whether the display still lights. The technician tests the reported fault on site before naming a cause or quoting a repair.
Can you quote a repair for a microwave that runs without heating before the diagnostic?
Not reliably: a microwave that runs without heating can have more than one cause. The $95 diagnostic is credited toward an approved repair. After testing the microwave on site, the technician gives the full parts-and-labor price, and repair begins only with your agreement.
When could you visit Fort Lauderdale for microwave repair?
A microwave repair visit in Fort Lauderdale is usually available the same day or next day. Calls are answered 24/7; repair visits run 7 days a week, and we confirm the available time window before the visit.
What warranty comes with a completed microwave repair?
A completed microwave repair carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labor, written on the invoice. That is the term our parts suppliers give us, and we pass the same term on to you.
