Prompt service, went above and beyond to clean a filter on a stackable machine, it was preventing the macho from draining. It wasn’t easy to get to the filter, but we got it done and it’s working great.

Price
What ice machine repair costs in Fort Lauderdale — and when you know the number
Ice machine repair in Fort Lauderdale comes down to two numbers: the $119 diagnostic and the repair price given after the machine has been tested.
The $119 diagnostic
The diagnostic on an ice machine in Fort Lauderdale is $119 and is credited toward the repair. If you decide not to repair, the diagnostic is what you pay.
The repair price
One ice machine complaint has more than one possible cause, and the part that failed sets the price: the technician tests your ice machine on site in Fort Lauderdale first, then gives one price for the whole job, parts and labor, and work starts only after you agree to that number.
Payment
We take cards, Zelle, cash or a check. The invoice lists the completed work and the warranty.

Common problems
Common ice machine problems we fix in Fort Lauderdale
Starchenko Appliance Repair fixes ice machines across Fort Lauderdale and the rest of Broward County. The faults below are what owners called us out to repair on ice machines.
Ice machine overfilling
Water rising too high in the reservoir can spill around the machine and interrupt ice production. The technician checks the level sensor, float and fill control before recommending a repair.
Commercial ice machine making no ice
A commercial ice machine can stop making ice because its fill, cooling or harvest cycle is interrupted. The technician checks which stage has stopped before recommending repair. Recent example: Manitowoc nugget ice machine stopped making ice. Gearmotor replaced (Fort Lauderdale).
Ice machine not dropping a batch
Ice that stays on the evaporator can stop the next production cycle. The technician observes the harvest cycle and checks its control and release system before quoting a repair.
Commercial ice machine leaking water
Water around the bin or under an ice machine may come from a drain, supply connection, seal or another water path. The technician traces the leak and tests the affected area before recommending a repair. Recent example: Hoshizaki outdoor ice maker leaking at the bin. Drain line and bin gasket repaired (Fort Lauderdale).
These are the ice machine faults Fort Lauderdale calls us about most often — not the whole list. Whatever your ice machine is doing, call us: the $119 diagnostic finds what failed and comes off the repair, same day or next day.

Before you book
Fort Lauderdale ice machine repair questions, answered
Answers about the ice machine diagnostic, visit timing, repair scope and warranty in Fort Lauderdale.
Call (754) 335-5599Can I book repair for a restaurant ice machine in Fort Lauderdale?
Yes. We service restaurant ice machines in Fort Lauderdale. Share the make, model and where the unit can be accessed when booking so the technician arrives prepared to diagnose it.
What should our staff report when booking a visit for a commercial ice machine that overfills?
When booking, tell us where water appears, whether the unit still makes ice, and the model. The technician checks the reported fault on site before naming a cause or quoting a repair; completion depends on the diagnosis and available parts.
Can you quote a repair for a commercial ice machine that overfills before the diagnostic?
Not reliably: a commercial ice machine that overfills can have more than one cause. The $119 diagnostic is credited toward an approved repair. After testing the commercial ice machine on site, the technician gives the full parts-and-labor price, and repair begins only with your agreement.
When could you visit Fort Lauderdale for commercial ice machine repair?
A commercial ice machine repair visit in Fort Lauderdale is usually available the same day or next day. Calls are answered 24/7; repair visits run 7 days a week, and we confirm the available time window before the visit.
What warranty comes with a completed commercial ice machine repair?
A completed commercial ice machine repair carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labor, written on the invoice. That is the term our parts suppliers give us, and we pass the same term on to you.
