Price
What ice machine repair costs in Miami — and when you know the number
Ice machine repair in Miami comes down to two numbers: the $119 diagnostic and the repair price given after the machine has been tested.
The $119 diagnostic
The diagnostic on an ice machine in Miami is $119 and is credited toward the repair. If you decide not to repair, the diagnostic is what you pay.
The repair price
One ice machine complaint has more than one possible cause, and the part that failed sets the price: the technician tests your ice machine on site in Miami first, then gives one price for the whole job, parts and labor, and work starts only after you agree to that number.
Payment
We take cards, Zelle, cash or a check. The invoice lists the completed work and the warranty.

Common problems
Common ice machine problems we fix in Miami
Starchenko Appliance Repair fixes ice machines across Miami and the rest of Miami-Dade County. The faults below are what owners called us out to repair on ice machines.
Commercial ice machine making no ice
Production stops dead and the bin empties through service. Water inlet valves, evaporator plates, start relays and capacitors are everyday work for our technicians. Recent example: Atosa commercial ice machine stopped making ice. Evaporator plate cleaned and water valve replaced (Miami).
Ice machine making less ice than it used to
The machine runs but the bin never catches up with the bar. Condensers, water filters and the refrigerant side are checked together before a part is quoted. Recent example: Ice-O-Matic ice machine making thin, slow ice. Water inlet valve replaced (Miami Beach).
Ice machine not dropping the batch
The harvest cycle stalls and the evaporator ices over. Hot gas valves and harvest controls are familiar parts on Manitowoc, Hoshizaki, Scotsman and Ice-O-Matic machines.
Commercial ice machine leaking water
Water around the bin or under an ice machine may come from a drain, supply connection, seal or another water path. The technician traces the leak and tests the affected area before recommending a repair.
These are the ice machine faults Miami calls us about most often — not the whole list. Whatever your ice machine is doing, call us: the $119 diagnostic finds what failed and comes off the repair, same day or next day.

Before you book
Miami ice machine repair questions, answered
Answers about the ice machine diagnostic, visit timing, repair scope and warranty in Miami.
Call (754) 335-5599Can I book repair for a commercial ice machine in Miami?
Yes. We service commercial ice machines in Miami. Share the make, model and where the unit can be accessed when booking so the technician arrives prepared to diagnose it.
What should our staff report when booking a visit for a commercial ice machine making no ice?
Tell us whether the unit runs and whether it fills or releases any ice. The technician checks the reported fault on site before naming a cause or quoting a repair; completion depends on the diagnosis and available parts.
Can you quote a repair for a commercial ice machine making no ice before the diagnostic?
Not reliably: a commercial ice machine making no ice can have more than one cause. The $119 diagnostic is credited toward an approved repair. After testing the commercial ice machine on site, the technician gives the full parts-and-labor price, and repair begins only with your agreement.
When could you visit Miami for commercial ice machine repair?
A commercial ice machine repair visit in Miami is usually available the same day or next day. Calls are answered 24/7; repair visits run 7 days a week, and we confirm the available time window before the visit.
What warranty comes with a completed commercial ice machine repair?
A completed commercial ice machine repair carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labor, written on the invoice. That is the term our parts suppliers give us, and we pass the same term on to you.
