A neighbor recommended Starchenko. We own a laundromat, and during a repair what we need most is to know what’s going on. They kept us informed, got the equipment back in service, and cleaned up before leaving.

Amazing company. On time. Let me pick when I wanted to do the repair. Then. After initial invoice they realized they missed another problem and fixed it the next day for no additional charge. I couldn’t believe it. This company is honest, on time and does great work at a reasonable price. Everyone told me cheaper to replace than repair. Not with this company. Highly recommend

After years of relying on personal relationships for repairs and having terrible experiences I took the risk and could not be more amazed and pleased with the results. Every moment there was clear communication and actionable steps towards the solution I needed. Within 24 hours the technician was in the property. They were patient and helpful and solved the problem instantly. Their prices were fair and I will be using them again for anything and everything possible! Their follow up and execution is really something to rave about. As a realtor this is a dream come true to have found! I am beyond grateful.

Price
What refrigeration unit repair costs in Fort Lauderdale — and when you know the number
Commercial Refrigeration repair in Fort Lauderdale comes down to two numbers: the $119 diagnostic and the repair price given after the machine has been tested.
The $119 diagnostic
The diagnostic on a refrigeration unit in Fort Lauderdale is $119 and is credited toward the repair. If you decide not to repair, the diagnostic is what you pay.
The repair price
One refrigeration unit complaint has more than one possible cause, and the part that failed sets the price: the technician tests your refrigeration unit on site in Fort Lauderdale first, then gives one price for the whole job, parts and labor, and work starts only after you agree to that number.
Payment
We take cards, Zelle, cash or a check. The invoice lists the completed work and the warranty.

Common problems
Common refrigeration unit problems we fix in Fort Lauderdale
Starchenko Appliance Repair fixes refrigeration units across Fort Lauderdale and the rest of Broward County. The faults below are what owners called us out to repair on refrigeration units.
Cooler door or gasket failing
Glass doors that jam and gaskets that have hardened cost temperature every time the door opens. Rollers, hinges and gaskets are a contained repair. Recent example: Glass door on a True store cooler jammed. Door rollers replaced (Pompano Beach).
Case cooling weakly
The case runs but never pulls down to its set point. Filter driers, charge and the condenser side are checked before anything is replaced. Recent example: True deli case cooling weakly. Filter drier replaced (Pembroke Pines).
Commercial refrigeration icing up
Ice around the evaporator can restrict airflow and warm the case. The technician checks the defrost system, controls and airflow before deciding what needs repair.
Water under a cooler or case
Water under a refrigerated case may come from a blocked drain, condensation path or supply connection. The technician traces the water and checks the affected components before recommending a repair.
These are the refrigeration unit faults Fort Lauderdale calls us about most often — not the whole list. Whatever your refrigeration unit is doing, call us: the $119 diagnostic finds what failed and comes off the repair, same day or next day.

Before you book
Fort Lauderdale refrigeration unit repair questions, answered
Answers about the refrigeration unit diagnostic, visit timing, repair scope and warranty in Fort Lauderdale.
Call (754) 335-5599Can I book repair for a restaurant reach-in cooler in Fort Lauderdale?
Yes. We service restaurant reach-in coolers in Fort Lauderdale. Share the make, model and where the unit can be accessed when booking so the technician arrives prepared to diagnose it.
What should our staff report when booking a visit for a commercial cooler door that will not seal?
Tell us whether the door closes fully, which edge leaks air, and the unit model. The technician checks the reported fault on site before naming a cause or quoting a repair; completion depends on the diagnosis and available parts.
Can you quote a repair for a cooler door or gasket that will not seal before the diagnostic?
Not reliably: a cooler door or gasket that will not seal can have more than one cause. The $119 diagnostic is credited toward an approved repair. After testing the commercial refrigeration unit on site, the technician gives the full parts-and-labor price, and repair begins only with your agreement.
When could you visit Fort Lauderdale for commercial refrigeration repair?
A commercial refrigeration repair visit in Fort Lauderdale is usually available the same day or next day. Calls are answered 24/7; repair visits run 7 days a week, and we confirm the available time window before the visit.
What warranty comes with a completed commercial refrigeration repair?
A completed commercial refrigeration repair carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labor, written on the invoice. That is the term our parts suppliers give us, and we pass the same term on to you.
