Price
What an Amana microwave repair costs — and when you know the number
Amana microwave repair cost comes down to two numbers: the $95 diagnostic and the repair price given after the machine is tested.
The $95 diagnostic
The diagnostic is $95 and is credited toward the repair. If you decide not to repair, the diagnostic is what you pay.
The repair price
A microwave that stays cold can need different work from one that cuts out or ignores its controls. The technician checks the affected Amana function and quotes the parts and labor after finding the fault.
